Acne redness can make our skin look a lot worse then what it is, there are however steps you can take to reduce acne redness. Sometimes we can put up with our acne especially if it isn't to bad, But once the redness starts to appear on our skin we can get all worked up and worried. Here are 5 great tips on how to get rid of acne redness proven to work for many people.


1- Apply a bit of toothpaste gel on your acne redness before you go to bed at night. It should bring down the swelling while you are sleeping


2- Believe it or not Garlic can actually help slow down the redness and swelling of your acne. Here is what you do - Get a half clove of garlic and Gently rub the garlic on all of the affected spots. This will to stop the redness and swelling.


3- Mix some lemon juice with equal amount of rose water. Apply this on your face. Leave it for half hour. Then gently wash your face with cold water. The redness will reduce in about 15 days.


4- Get some ice cubes or a ice pack from your freezer. Use a smooth clean cloth to place the ice cubes in. Place the cloth or ice pack on the red marks for a minimum of ten minutes. It will make the redness on your face less noticeable.


There are tons of more ways to reduce the redness on your acne, when you do eventually gain control over the redness your acne will not look as bad depending on how severe your acne really is. If the tips above don't work then you may need to seek professional advice, by visiting a dermatologist or your local doctor.


The 4 great tips i have just showed you on how to get rid of acne redness are great and have worked wonders for many people that i know of who have redness on their acne.
