The buzzing, ringing or hissing sound that can be heard in one or both the ears is often associated with ear tinnitus. In some cases the sound may be consistent, whereas it come and go in other cases. Even the intervals of coming and going can vary from one person to another. Tinnitus can be broadly classified into two categories: subjective and objective.
