Acne is a tremendously embarrassing and burdensome problem. It is easy to feel that you don't have control over your breakouts. During the stage of puberty, a whole lot of bacteria get collected in the skin and it results in acne. Due to this particular reason, young people especially teenagers are more prone to the disease. Most teenagers get the type of acne called acne vulgaris, which can show up on the face, neck, shoulders, back, and chest.

Here are some easy things you can start doing today to help you heal your acne.

1. If you like to exercise, wash your skin well after the workout. The sweat which occurs on your skin can cause a lot of problems and result in the formation of acne. Washing will provide the right freshness to the skin of your face.

2. Additionally use caution with hair styling products that contain oils, alcohol and adhesives that should be kept away from skin and from seeping into pores along with perspiration during workouts; especially watch hair gels and mousses so that they don't cause clogging around your hairline. Use care when choosing fragrance and scented cosmetics.

3. You shouldn' t squeeze, pick, scratch, or rub your skin as it makes the problem worse, and it might even cause scarring.

4. If you have long hair or bangs, pull your hair off your face. Your hair contains oils as well, and will contribute to your breakouts. You'll also want to wash your hair everyday and after workouts. This is one of the best natural acne treatment .

5. If a non-electric razor is your choice, a single-edged blade is actually better.
