Your skin is one of the first indicators of great health, and your nutrition plays a vital role in ensuring that your skin looks your best. Wrinkles are caused by a loss of three vital skin structures: collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Lack of exercise and lack of sleep or dehydration can also make your skin look tired and make you look older than you really are. Your skin however, will also say a lot about the foods you eat.

Here are some foods that can prevent damage to the skin, repair damage and hydrate your skin and gives it a glowing beautiful look.

Green Tea - It contains some potent antioxidants called catechins and they fight the damage that is caused by free radicals. It is also said to rejuvenate the skin cells as well as fight inflammation and soothes acne.

Water - water hydrates the skin, and so one should consume adequate amounts of water. Need I say more?

Mangoes - Mangoes have vitamin A which is a powerful antioxidant which repairs the skin cells and maintains them.

Almonds - Almonds have a substantial amount of vitamin E, which protects the skin against damage and prevents premature aging.

Oysters - They contain considerable amounts of zinc, which helps prevent pimples.

A baked potato - yes baked potato not fried, and best for your skin when it is consumed with its skin. The potato contains copper and this works with zinc to help support the structure of your skin.

Mushrooms - mushrooms contains vitamin B2 which is vital for skin maintenance and repair.

Spinach - Spinach contains powerful antioxidants vitamins A, E,C as well as iron. It keeps the skin looking bright and healthy.

Now you know, you can change the appearance of your skin so it looks radiant and beautiful.
