When you are in the process of organising a hens night event, chances are that you will be going through a lot of stress, frustration and hassles. Little tasks seem like huge chores simply because of the amount of time and energy you need to spend on them. I have devised a simple step by step process to help choose a hens night idea that will turn your hens night party into a lasting memory while at the same time saving you from all the headaches that used to be part of being the organiser of a hens night. Although I came up with this step by step process originally for hens night ideas Adelaide offers, I have modified it so that you can use it no matter where you live.

Step 1:

First and foremost you need to determine how many guests will be taking part in your hens night celebration. I know it sounds easy. And I also know that it is not. Specially when half of the guests are not even sure if they will be coming or not. But nevertheless, it is important to at least have an estimation of what your guest-list will be like. This will help you make a list of appropriate hens night ideas. Which is going to be the next step.

Step 2:

Now what you will want to be doing is writing down all of the hens night ideas you can think of. As ideas pass your way through your friends or as you surf the mega-information highway, the internet, write them  down no matter how silly they might seem. Who knows? What seems silly now will not seem so silly tomorrow. Just write them all down. Keep a notebook on you so that if any ideas come up during your busy days as you talk about the hens night with your colleagues, in excitement you can quickly write them down. You will be eliminating ideas in a later step so do not worry if your list gets quite large.

Step 3:

Decide on the budget for your hens night event. If you have not done so already. A budget per person is best because at this stage you may still not have an exact idea of how many people will be joining you in celebration. By deciding on a budget that is affordable on a per person basis, you allow yourself the flexibility so that you can make later adjustments accordingly.

Step 4:

Now you need to determine a more precise guest-list and hopefully your friends and colleagues (even the guests whom you may not know yet) will be accommodating, and know for certain whether they will attend the hens party or not. This is important as I am sure you know. The guest-list needs to be as precise as possible because not all hens party ideas are flexible in the bookings or deposits. This list can then be used to finalise the budget which you had worked out on a per person basis in the previous step. So you now have a more definite overall budget as well as a more definite guest-list.

Step 5:

Now it is time to get out your notebook of hens night ideas and you will begin to eliminate the hens night ideas which are not appropriate and the hens night ideas that are way out of the budget. You can have some of your friends and colleagues help you with this step. Especially if they are part of the hens party themselves. An example of some things to consider is how old the guests are going to be. If there are going to be some grandparents then having a pole dancing session might not be appropriate.

After eliminating the hens night ideas you do not want to have, you should be left with something like 3-6 hens night ideas which all fit into your budget, and are going to be fun and enjoyable for all the guests (a way to choose a hens night idea that is enjoyable for everyone is to have something that is interactive so that nobody "sits in the corner").

Step 6:

This is the step in which you choose the hens night idea that you will be going ahead with. You have worked everything out that you need to up to this point and by now you should be having more clear images in your mind about what each idea will feel, look, and be like. Go ahead and make your choice. If you are finding it difficult to choose between a couple of the ideas, ask the bride-to-be or a friend of yours for some help.

Step 7:

Now that you have decided on the hens night idea you are going to go with, it is time to get to organising the event. There is still a little bit of work ahead of you. But the hard part is out of the way.
