Acne is a troublesome condition that can affect anyone at any age. There is no "cure" for acne, but there are many things you can do to prevent it from getting worse. Many are looking for acne treatments that really work. Once you know the cause then it is also important to correctly understand your skin type, there after you can look forward to following natural treatments.

1. Check if it is because of the food. For many people, food allergy can cause very serious acne condition. You should avoid eating too much oily and spicy food. Recent studies have shown that acne can also be caused by milk which contains hormones as well as seafood with relatively high levels of iodine.

2. Papaya is a fruit that not only helps to cleanse your body toxin from inside but it also doubles up as skin moisturizer and remover of dead skin. Apply papaya flesh on the affected area and leave it for 10 – 12 minutes and then rinse off.

3. I recommend you should wash your face twice daily (once in the morning, once in the evening) with soap free facial cleanser and use a gentle and smooth flannel so you don't cause irritation. Also wash your face after doing exercise which causes you to break into a sweat.

4. Eliminate as much stress from your life as possible. This sounds impossible, but it's not. Stress also has links to the suppression of your immune system and can even cause damage to your nerve cells. And when the inside of your body is damaged, the outside can begin to reflect it in the form of acne. Whenever you start to feel overwhelmed, take a few moments to breathe and be calm.

5. Keep your face clean. Do not rest your chin on your hands or constantly touch your face. Regular shampoo your hair and keep it off your face, especially when you sleep. This is one of the best natural acne treatment .

6. Drink lots of water or water based things like juices, soups etc to flush out toxins. Acne needs to be handled with patience and strength. Do not get stressed otherwise you will accentuate the acne problem.

7. Exercising daily (even if it's just a walk and you break a sweat) will help to prevent acne because when you sweat it is releasing bad and unwanted toxins from your body which causes acne.

8. Watch your sugar intake. Not only is excessive sugar consumption generally bad for you and the gateway to diseases such as diabetes, but also it is high in carbohydrates, which may cause a greater number of breakouts.
