No one can deny that mothers who smoke while they're pregnant put their babies' lives in a bad situation as they become more exposed to the risks of smoking.

According to a health report made, it was observed that there is a strong direct relationship between a smoking pregnant woman and the risk that a child would face death, it means that every single woman who smokes during the period of her pregnancy is risking with the life of her baby for a cigarette!

On the same report was mentioned the dangers of little cigars, especially when we notice that little cigars popularity is increasing day after day and that people can smoke as much amount of it as they do with cigarettes. It was reported that smokers who suffer any lungs or heart diseases are cigarettes victims, on the other hand, people who smoke large cigars or pipes would suffer some diseases too, but the report was more concerned with those who smoke cigarettes and specifically women who smoke during their pregnancy period, as it was noticed a higher mortality rate of late fetal and infants when they have a cigarette smoking mother, which means having a stillbirth or that mothers could lose their newborn children during the very first few days of his life.

Also it was mentioned that in the United States, a huge number of children who have a smoking mother are behaviorally affected by their mothers' smoking habits, and doctors observed that about two-thirds of deaths caused by accidents were children between the age bracket 1 to 14, which means that accidents has the first rank in causing death in that age bracket.

In another British report, it showed that mothers who smoke during their pregnancy had stillbirth rate 30% higher than nonsmoker mothers, also smoker mothers had an infant death rate for the first few days after birth 26% higher than non smoker mothers. It was also mentioned that mothers who quit smoking by the 4th month of her pregnancy drive away any dangers that threatens her baby's life

.

It was also noticed that women who smoke cigarettes give birth to children who suffer a lower weight than other children whom their mothers don't smoke cigarettes, this note was not only mentioned in this report, but it also had been observed by every health report in that field, some other reports may have disagreed with the result of a higher mortality rate among infants of smoking mothers. Therefore, there had been a great argument about the side effects of smoking mothers on their children, this report also argues that babies of smoking women appeared to be younger than their real age, but not premature. A premature baby is a baby who was born before full development of his senses which put his life in a great danger. And then it was reported that a premature baby of a non smoking mother may face a greater risk than a mature baby of a smoking mother. Even if that's true, this can't deny the fact that smoking is putting you and your baby's life in danger, so you should give it up.
