The thing is if we don't feel good about ourselves,

believe that we are worthy of good health, love, respect from others and all the good things that life has to offer, well all we get is crap.

And we only have ourselves to blame.

Instead of putting yourself down about every little thing look for the good stuff and lie to yourself if you have to. If you feel so bad about the way you are,

little white lies work very well. You will get used to saying nice things to yourself.

I've done it myself, whenever I do something forgetful,

clumsy, etc the first thing that pops into the head is `stupid' `dumb'`silly bitch'. It happens so fast, but if you are aware then you can bring change about.

Truly appreciate yourself, all the stuff you know, what you can do, who you are. Write down every little positive thing about yourself. Look at you in the mirror, right in the eye and say `insert your name- I love you'.

Yes I know , it sounds weird but even smiling at you in the mirror will make you like yourself more.

``Limitless like the ocean are your excellent qualities",

-     Dalai Lama

You are worthy of love, everybody is.

If you truly think you're unlovable take a few minutes and write down the traits or characteristics that you feel are negative about yourself. Can you work out when they started, maybe who first said something negative to make you believe you were a certain way.

Teachers in the past have been guilty of creating a lot of doubts in a lot of people as they were growing up.

I think every one of us has had a teacher that said something to make us think badly of ourselves at an impressionable age, so it sticks there in the subconscious, and snowballs over the years.

Obviously it's not all teachers, and parents, relatives lots of people can say things to cause us to dislike ourselves

Once you have identified the issues, deal with them,

Move forward and love yourself.

You will then be open to all the love and good things in life.
