Although there are many different methods of anti aging that are complicated and not well known, there are also some very simple anti aging tips that you can follow that will help keep you from aging too fast. By following simple tips such as wearing sunscreen, drinking a lot of water, eating fruits and vegetables, getting enough sleep, and avoiding harmful addictions, you can slow the aging process to a much slower rate.

The sun wears on your skin, and causes lots of damage over time, including wrinkles and sun spots. The majority of this damage comes from the UV rays – this can easily be negated by wearing a good SPF sunscreen. It is important that you still get enough sun exposure, as it helps produce vitamin D, though.

One of the most common anti aging tips is to adjust your diet. Instead of red meat, eat fish more often. Make sure to have lots of fruits and vegetables, especially ones that are high in antioxidants. Also, be sure to drink anywhere from 2 to 6 liters of water per day to stay properly hydrated.

If you have any harmful habits, start getting rid of them now. Habits such as using a tanning bed, or smoking, or binge drinking (wine is very healthy, but moderation is key) will contribute to the aging process considerably. The sooner you give up these tendencies, the sooner you will feel better and the less they will wear on your body.

Finally, one of the most important anti aging tips is to avoid stress and get enough rest. You need to have 8 hours per sleep a night if possible, but that is not the extent of the rest you need. You also need to have several hours of relaxation per day to help you get rid of the stresses that are wearing on you, which is a very important aspect of feeling and looking younger.
