If you are one of the millions who suffer from incontinency then you already know how invaluable incontinence aids are in maintaining a regular, embarrassment free lifestyle.  If you have the condition but have not yet looked into what is available to help manage the problem then this article will shed some light on just how simple it is to keep inconstancy from interfering with the way you live.

Incontinence pads are probably the most common for of aid used.  These disposable pads come with a self adhesive backing so the fit securely in your regular underwear.  They are small and easily transportable, have a low profile so they are invisible under clothing and come in a variety of absorbency levels to fir your particular need.  They are easily removed and replaced making them ideal for most people.

Mattress covers are also common choices of protection for people with an incontinence problem.  Not only do they absorb fluid and keep the person dry at night, but these waterproof covers also prevent damaging the mattress itself.  Given the high cost of mattresses, having a waterproof cover is a smart investment protection decision.

Incontinence pants are also popular.  These garments look very much like regular underwear and have built in pads.  They are washable and reusable making them the best value in incontinence aids.  Again these pants come in a variety of protection levels and are slim in design making you the only one who knows you are wearing them.

If you travel, a mattress pad is a must.  These light weight pads are easily carried in your luggage and can be used to protect hotel beds.  If you have an accident overnight just dispose of the pad.  If it was a dry night, simply fold it up and take it with you.  Mattress pads are a great way to ease a travelers mind.

Incontinency does not have to limit your way of living.  With the right incontinence aids you can continue your active lifestyle without embarrassment or worry.
