If you’ve been thinking about dating your ex girlfriend again you’re probably wondering how to go about doing that. Once a relationship ends it’s difficult to know exactly what your former partner is feeling or thinking. Hindsight is 20-20 and sometimes a man doesn’t really understand how much his girlfriend means to him until she’s no longer his. If you want her back, you’ve got to approach her in a very specific way. There are ways to get her interested in you again and once you understand what they are, you can have her back in your arms. The best approach to start dating your ex girlfriend again is to become her friend first. This seems like a big step in the wrong direction when your goal is to reconnect with her romantically, but it’s not. Many long term fulfilling and happy relationships begin as friendships. If you can establish this type of connection with her you’ll show her that she can trust you again. In time she’ll open up to you and the next logical step will be a renewed romance. Start out slowly by calling her up occasionally to see how she is. Then ask her to meet you for coffee or lunch. Don’t bring up the fact that you’re still crazy about her during these initial stages of your new friendship. Let her see you as a good friend before you try and shift the dynamic back into something more serious. Another thing you need to be doing if you’re missing your ex girlfriend and want her back is to work on improving yourself. Even if the break up was primarily her idea and you opposed it, there were probably things you were doing that were either aggravating her or annoying her. Your goal, right now, should be changing those things. You need to show her that you’re mature enough to recognize that those things weren’t making her happy. If you change them, she’ll be impressed and it will go a long way towards getting her back. When she realizes that you are working at becoming a better man she’ll start to remember why she fell in love with you in the first place.
