Shamit Khemka – the Founder and CEO of SynapseIndia (a leading offshoring/ outsourcing service provider located in India) is a person with resolute mind and steady pace towards achieving his dreams. While pursuing graduation from St. Xavier College, Shamit had determined that he will be an entrepreneur. It was his strong will towards turning his dreams into reality that gave birth to Pharos Infotech (in 1994) – Shamit’s maiden entrepreneurial venture.
Pharos was the first dot com to introduce the concept of BBS (Bulletin Board Service) with email in India. That was much before even VSNL could introduce its Internet services. Followed by Pharos was the second innovative venture of Shamit called “Sampatti.com”. Launched in 1998, Sampatti.com was the first website dedicated to the real estate industry in India. The interactive directory and database management system introduced by Sampatti.com was welcomed and applauded by the realtors across the country.
Encouraged by the success of the two ventures, Shamit Khemka decided to step into the much challenging and exciting world of offshoring/outsourcing. Thus, he launched Synapse India in 2000 with a meager investment and a few employees and computers. Today, the company employs more than 300 workers and has multiple ultra modern units across the country.
The company has been growing at an amazing 100% rate since its inception. Delivering excellent quality of services to clients based in the USA, UK, Australia, and other parts of the world, the company has become a prominent name when it comes to outsourcing/ offshoring service providers in India.
Catering to the diverse industries including the sports, investment and finance, medical and healthcare, retail and wholesale, real estate, and many more, the company has earned the prestigious CMMI level-3 accreditation along with the Microsoft Gold and MS Small Business partnerships. Furthermore, the company has received certifications from the premier trade bodies namely the NASSCOM and FICCI.
