Question: I was in the check out line. A couple feet away was a man on a ladder hanging up a HUGE sign. He dropped it or it fell, not sure which and it hit me in the back of my right leg almost causing me to fall. I filed an accident report before leaving. The next day my calf and upper leg are quite black and blue. While this is not a serious injury, it is a little painful. I did not go to see a Dr. because i don't have insurance. I would just like a little compensation for the pain and for the complete lack of any kind of an apology. Am I being unreasonable? Should I file a small claims against Vons? Hopefully, you have been to a doctor to rule out any type of serious injury.
