Pregnancy is the most beautiful phase in a girl's life. But with the happiness the mother also carries aches and pains during pregnancy.

During pregnancy period the mother undergoes with both mental stress and physical strain.

So the following discussion is on the aches and pains during pregnancy, and the ways to face those and a few tips to reduce them.

Belly button tenderness is a problem that may sound frivolous, but the expanding uterus can be the cause of this particular syndrome, and can become the most painful during the 20th week of pregnancy.

The vaginal secretions increases during pregnancy leads to increased secretion of leukorrhea (the odorless clear/white discharge) and as a result the vaginal secretion increases.

The increased amount of the discharge is not something to feel scary about, until, the color of the discharge changes to greenish-yellow and or spreads a foul smell.

Doctor's advice is needed immediately if experiencing soreness or pain in the vaginal area.

Palms of hands and soles of feet develop a reddish color due to the hormonal changes. This syndrome is called "palmer erythyma". Palmer erythyma disappears after conceiving without any treatment.

Developing skin tags during pregnancy is a common issue. Skin tags are generally developed where skin gets rubbed against skin or cloth, viz. folds of the neck; bra line.

"Phylogenic granulomas" is another common and harmless syndrome seen during pregnancy. These are nothing but non-cancerous tiny tumor growths in the gum. These tumors vanish on its own after conceiving.

"Carpel tunnel syndrome" is again another common syndrome during pregnancy, which results a pinched nerve in the wrist. This syndrome generally disappears after conceiving, but, few women require a surgery to rectify this problem.

Elevating the affected hand or putting a plastic splint at night could be the ways of comforting while having this syndrome.

Ligaments in your hips get stretched and cartilage softens up due to the hormonal changes during pregnancy. This may lead to "hip soreness". There is no real treatment for this particular complaint. But changing of positions frequently while sleeping, can be the way to avoid hip soreness.
