With new research coming out every day and studies linking common sense steps along with products you can easily obtain without a doctor’s prescription, you can get control back over your skin in no time.

Here is how to gainacne controlin 6 easy steps:

  1. No Rubbing Or Picking!

For once, mom was right.  (Ok, she’s probably right about a lot of things).  You shouldn’t pick at your face when you have a breakout of whiteheads or blackheads.  Aside from running the risk of leaving behind permanent acne scars, you also are spreading your acne by popping your zits.  You’re not making it better at all by using this as a short-term solution.  You’re only making matters worse.  So don’t do it!

  1. Use A Sulfur Based Soap Specifically For Acne

You should wash your face a couple times a day with a sulfur based soap for maximum acne control.  If your skin is very oily, then benzoyl peroxide based soap may be better.  The key here is a “couple” of times a day, as in twice a day.  More than that and you run the risk of your sebaceous glands going into overtime and producing more acne.  Stick with the label instructions here and don’t overdo it.

  1. You Are What You Eat

If you are eating very fatty, oily foods, your skin is likely going to show it.  Cut back on the junk food and foods high in saturated fats for better acne control.  Recent studies have shown a strong link between these foods and acne outbreaks.  A healthier diet can make a big difference in your skin.

  1. Drink and Be Merry!

Water, that is.  All that talk you hear about six to eight glasses of water a day is for a reason. Water helps flush toxins from your body, either through your kidneys or out of your skin in the form of perspiration.  The more water you drink, the better you flush everything out and the less chance of clogged pores.  So drink up and be happy that your skin will look better!

  1. Stop or Cut Back On The Makeup

If you can get by with no makeup, your skin will be better off.  However, if you feel that you really need to wear some, then make sure that it’s water based and at the end of the day, be sure to remove it.  Don’t go to bed with your makeup on and use a good quality cleanser and makeup remover to thoroughly clean your face.

  1. Avoid The Oil

Stay away from oily moisturizers and cleansers.  These will only serve to clog your pores and make your skin worse.  Use a good quality oil-free moisturizer and cleanser for better skin and acne control.

Taking control of your skin isn’t that hard once you know the steps.  Good diet and proper hydration don’t cost a penny.  Using quality products may cost more up front, but will more than pay for themselves in healthier, more beautiful skin later on.
