If you've searched around the internet much for an acne cure, you've probably run into hundreds of "acne scams."  These are websites built by money-hungry marketers who most likely have never even suffered with acne!  They are not trying to help you, their sole purpose is to make a quick buck, they don't care about your problems or helping you to find a successful solution.  Whatever they can do to get you to buy their product they will do, wether that means lying or making false promises or playing with your emotions.

These websites make me sick.

How can you find REAL information about acne treatment?  Its definitely tricky to find a website written by someone who genuinely cares about curing acne, but its possible.

Here are some things to look out for when considering purchasing a new acne treatment:

  • Are they offering a "miracle" acne cure?  If there really was a miracle cure, we would all know about it and no one would have acne!
  • Is it a "secret" that you have to pay money to find out?  There are no acne secrets!  You will be let down when you realize you paid money for something you already know.
  • If the website has 'before and after' photos, is it clear that they are the same person and they haven't been photoshopped?
  • Do the testimonials seem fake?  Or are they written and submitted by real people?  If you get an uneasy feeling when reading their testimonials then chances are they are fake.
  • Do they share with you the drawbacks of the product?  No product is ever 100% perfect, and a genuine site that is truly trying to help you will always let you know the positives AND the negatives about acne products/solutions.

Keep in mind that MOST acne websites are run by marketers!  Don't let them fool you.  Keep in mind that there is no "magic" cure for acne, but if you take the time to properly research what is really causing your acne and take the necessary steps to cure the root of the problem, you WILL be able to permanently rid your acne.
