Some ways are meant to help you emotionally and some are some are ways to help you get your ex back, if you desire to do so. Here are a few tips that you may want to consider. 1. Now that you find yourself with a lot more free time on your hands, call up your friends and let them know what is going on with you. I know you are an adult, but you still have a life. Hook up with your friends and go out and have a good time. You see, this will take your mind off of your problems. It will also remind you how much fun you had when you were single. 2. Do not go off the deep in, blaming your ex or their family. Just let them know that you are willing to go a long with the separation, wish them well, and get on with your life. Getting upset and blaming your ex will only push them further and further away. That is not what you want to do. You want it to end peacefully because there is a chance for the two of you to work things out. 3. Once they contact you or you decide to contact them, try to find out what is it they are looking for in the relationship. Now, you may think you all ready know, believe me, you want know until you ask. Make sure they know what it is you expect out of the relationship. The relationship is not a one way street, it will take the two of you being open and honest with each other. Talking to each with respect could be the start of a brand new relationship for the two of you.
