Considering that you vacuum and you make sure that your bed sheets are clean, you are probably wondering why on earth you have bed bugs. The fact is that they are robust little creatures, and once they have settled in, you have to do more than basic cleaning to get rid of them.

So then, how to kill bed bugs? One way on is by making use of an insecticide spray. They work as a contact killer, and so any bed bug that even touches it will be dead within seconds.

You have to be careful when using insecticides though, so read the label and directions carefully. Unless the instructions tell you so, do not spray directly on your mattress, beddings or linen.

Ideally you want to find one that is approved by the EPA, and which is 100% non-toxic. There are a range of good products that fit both of those criteria, so finding one at a store near you, or at an online store, should not prove at all difficult.

Deltamethrin is one of the most popular and widely used bed bug insecticides today, and it belongs to the class of pesticides known as pyrethroids. These are considered as contact and stomach poisons, which are lethal to most insects.

The reason why Deltamethrin is a favorite among homeowners is because it is odorless and leaves no residue, which makes it safe in general. Again, read the product directions carefully on how to kill bed bugs.
