More often than not I hear people tell me or ask me what anxiety is. Even more so, people usually tells me some pretty odd stories of how the have suffered, not one but several panic or anxiety attacks in private or worse, in public places such as the bus stop, at work, meetings, and many more. So what is it anyway? An panic attack is when a person is in this state of anxiety, pretty straight forward.
Anxiety attacks are commonly cause by stress or fear. The stress or fear caused by the uncertainty of a particular situation one may be going through. During these moments, anxious thoughts overtake the person, and therefore resulting in an panic attack. Now, how does one go about controlling getting rid of anxiety attack? That is the mistake that a lot of people make. Do not try and get rid of an anxiety attack because you cannot. But you can however, control it. No anxiety attack treatment of any kind can get rid of anxiety or a panic attack.
When you get in this state of consciousness, the first thing you want to do is acknowledge that you are having a panic attack and that it is completely normal. The next step is to relax, and know that it is only temporary. Where there is resistance, there is persistence. Do not resist. But allow, acknowledge and go on about your day. If you are the type of person that constantly fights it, it may lead to an anxiety disorder because the more you resist, the more and more you will keep having such attacks. Trust me, you do not want your body to be in state of panic under any circumstance. Always remain calm and collected.
This subject is a very long and contains a lot of details, which unfortunately I cannot fit everything into this little article. I hope this article has helped you, and wish you all the very best to you and your family.
