Having snored quite badly over recent years, I was keen to find a way to reduce the severity of the condition, as was my partner. A search online soon showed me that there were a range of anti snore aids that could possibly help me.

I realised that my snoring was at its most severe when I slept on my back, and this knowledge made it a lot easier for me to locate the right type of device to fix the problem. I had to find something that would stop me from rolling onto my back during the night.

There are a number of specially designed pillows that are constructed from a special foam that work to stop the snorer from lying on their back during the night. It's a pretty simple and effective technique, and being non-invasive, you sleep well with no discomfort. I bought a pillow that elongated my neck and brought my lower jaw forward slightly, thus keeping the airway clearer.

My wife commented after a few days, that the loudness and frequency of the snoring had reduced a lot. Being a lighter sleeper than me, she was probably more relieved than I was, as I've woken her up for a long time.

Many snorers also mouth breathe whilst asleep, and a snoring chin strap can be a useful aid to help you. These basic head harnesses help you to keep your mouth closed during the night. Sure, they look a little amusing but the results are excellent. Around $20 can get you a basic model and online is a good place to buy. Money well spent if it helps you.

I thoroughly recommend that you do a little research and try out some of these devices. Take a bit of time to analyse your snoring habits first. A bit of trial and error is sometimes called for to ensure you have the best chance of success, but the time and small amount of money is well worth it if you can stop snoring.

Stopping snoring has had a wonderful effect on both my energy levels, and also my relationship with my spouse, who was usually more tired than I was. I was astounded that snoring had such a detrimental effect on my life, for what seems like a fairly innocent problem. I feel great.
