There is an old saying that I like to refer to on a regular basis, you are what you eat.  This can not only be applied to you on the physical level, in many cases it may actually apply to you on a //tag/relieve+stress" mental stress level as well.

The reason why this is the case is because the food that we eat is going to provide our body and our minds with the things that it needs while it is digesting and long after it has exited the body.  That is why you need to ask yourself, if I am stressed , does it have anything to do with the food that I am eating?

The body is an amazingly balanced machine and whenever it is running well, there are very few things that go wrong with it.  The unfortunate thing is, many of us are not treating our bodies properly by eating the right kinds of foods.

Whenever this happens, we throw the internal workings of the body out of balance and it can affect us in numerous ways.  In order for you to regain your balance, you need to eat properly so that you will be able to maintain a balance within the body that will be felt both in your physical abilities and your mental abilities as well.

One of the main culprits of stress as far as our eating is concerned is sugar.  The unfortunate thing is, sugar is found in almost everything that we eat and it can be very difficult to overcome a sugar addiction whenever we have one.

There are some ways for you to get natural sugar into your system, however, as the body does need it to be able to survive.  This is done through eating fruits and vegetables, healthy carbohydrates that our body is able to break down and use regularly.

Since we understand that the more raw fruits and vegetables that we eat, the better our mental abilities are going to be, what is the best way to eat them?  The reality of it is, very few of us are able to make the switch over to all raw fruits and vegetables quickly and even if we try, we will more than likely fail.

It is better for you to add these things in your diet consistently and slowly so that your body has the time to adjust to them.  Even small changes will make differences in the way that you feel and over the course of time, you may find that your stress is much easier to deal with.
