One of the factors in determining the status of women in a society is the number of mothers who have had their babies adopted-out -- or harvested from them as eggs. In America, motherhood is not protected and moms and babies are being exploited. While very few Swedish mothers or Australian mothers have lost babies to adoption in recent decades, a comparatively high percentage of American mothers and babies are still being separated at or soon after birth.

Young fertile women are being solicited for their eggs and for their bodies, to produce or "incubate" babies for "surrogacy" customers. "Reproductive tourists" travel to third world countries and to the United States to buy newborn human beings and the raw materials to make them. To lure them in, the baby-brokering businesses tell the women they will be "angels" for helping someone. Afterwards, the women are said to be "just egg donors" - women who abandoned or sold their babies - not worthy of recognition as human beings.

United States does nothing to protect its citizens from this exploitation - not even to protect the children who are being artificially orphaned.

With the current popularity of "open" adoption, sometime you might meet a youngster who introduces you to both his adoptive family and his actual mother, whom he has been advised to refer to as his "birth" mother. If he were to introduce his true father would have to refer to him as his "ejaculation" father?

"Open" adoption is being promoted by many businesses as a way to get more babies for customers. Not only that but there is also "Infant Adoption Awareness Training" and "Embryo Adoption Awareness Training" being funded by the federal government to aid the baby-brokering businesses in getting small human beings - or the raw materials to make them - for customers.

The status of true motherhood and fatherhood is on the decline as the status of the infertile - or gay - adoption customer advances. While ordinary parents' benefits in the workplace are being cut, adopting people's benefits are being expanded. The same thing is true in government, where adoptive people get subsidies, tax benefits and other perks above and beyond what ordinary families get.

The adoption and baby brokering businesses want Americans to think this is all "normal" and healthy. "Traditional surrogates" and "egg donors" are often advised by the brokering businesses they are being paid for their "time". Later many of them wake up to the sad truth: They have sold their son or daughter - perhaps dozens of them. Meanwhile on the internet people are searching for phrases like "emotional emptiness of adoptees". There is nothing "normal" or healthy about cutting a child off intentionally from his naïve or vulnerable mother, father and family and selling him.
