Look around you. Everything you see and every event of which you are aware is the result of the Law of Attraction in action. Our physical world is the result of the combined mental activity of the entire thinking population. Whether good or bad, positive or negative, the Law of Attraction continues to do its job, - that of attracting, from the Universe, those things and events that perfectly match the mental activity of the masses.
When people realize this, they sometimes become afraid, thinking that they are going to be bombarded by the negative thoughts of others, and they wonder what, if anything, they can do to protect themselves.
In fact, there is no need for protection. You have all the power you need within your own mind to keep you safe. Even in what are considered 'distressed' or 'bad' neighborhoods, you will meet people who have lived there all their lives and have never run into any type of a problem with their neighbors or with the authorities.
This is a perfect example of the Law of Attraction in action.
These people do not spend their days worrying that they are going to be robbed or mugged. For the most part, they concentrate on getting on with their own lives. This even holds true within families. Our environment, and even our upbringing, have far less of an effect on what kind of lives we experience as adults thanhow we think about our environment and/or our upbringing.
Blaming families for the outcome of their children's lives has been a popular pastime ever since the advent of Psychiatry, but neither Psychiatry, Psychology, nor Psychoanalysis can explain why out of one family, one child can be wildly successful and another a miserable failure. For many years we have lived in a Culture of Victimhood, - nothing is our fault. But the problem with choosing to see yourself as a victim is that you are robbing yourself of your own power.
Youuseyour thoughts to create your own reality. This applies individually and en masse. The problem is not just that most people are unaware of the Law of Attraction and how it works, - they don't want to know. I can understand that.
Knowing and accepting that you, and you alone, hold within your mind the power to create experience is a tremendous responsibility, - and I think many people, even those who toy with the idea for awhile and then drop it, prefer the easier way...the one that says, "I'm not happy, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's not my fault."
Choosing to accept full responsibility for your lifeas it isandas it can becomethrough the proper use of the Law of Attraction is the probably the most important decision you will ever make. But it will result in the most rewarding and fulfilled life you could ever have dreamed possible.
