Acne can just be one of the most annoying things, rather a disease that anybody will get mad upon and especially if they are teenagers. This calls for an acne cure. The discussion below gives a brief overview of different do's and don'ts that can help you to avoid Acne and related expensive acne cures.

There are various acne treatments available and each one of them may work or may not work. However, narrowing down on the best acne treatment will be an act of hardcore foolishness. This is because requirements vary from person to person. Some may be affected by mild acne and the others can be affected by severe Acne. People with a form of mild acne will have easier and simpler treatments and the severe ones will require some very special cure.

They may require some proper advice from medical experts (dermatologists) and proper medication is also required at times. This is because the severe Acnes will be inflammatory and leave scars which can be permanent. Natural and home treatments for Acne can be termed as best by some people and some can be the advocates of costly and commercial medicines. In short it is difficult to say which one is the best acne treatment. Let us have a look at some of the natural Acne cures. Remember, a proper food habit is also required to eliminate and avoid acne.

- Apply honey on the skin. Minor acne can be removed by the anti bacterial properties of honey. Apply honey on the acne and then rinse it off with fresh water after some time.

- Keep hair off the face. You hair has some oils which act as toxins for the skin and can trigger off acne issues.

- Avoiding make ups and if you really have to, then use some which are water based. This is because make ups have some harmful chemical which can be the cause of Acne outbreak.

- Drinking water is very essential. But, drinking proper amount of water is even more essential. This is because water is responsible for washing away the harmful toxins from the body. Drinking at least 3 liters of water in the course of every day regularly will help wash away the harmful toxins and prevent the outbreak of acne.

- Try not to "pop the zit". Squeezing acne produces sebum which in turn spreads and increases it. Squeezing also has another affect. When pimples are squeezed, the membrane under the skin is disrupted and the sebum gets open passage to spread. This increases the acne.

Prevention of acne is better than curing it. It is better to treat it during the onset of the condition, instead of dealing with it at its extreme stages. As the saying goes right - "The sooner the diagnosis and treatment, the shorter the healing period".
