How can sleep deprivation affect weight loss? Surely the reverse is true! If we’re tossing and turning all night, aren’t we burning a few more kilojoules?

A big symptom of depression in many people is the inability to get proper rest. This lack of sleep only compounds the other symptoms and makes you feel completely "wiped out" from top to bottom.

However, exercise doesn't have to be this way. It doesn't need to be strenuous, and it certainly doesn't need to be scary to the point where no one wants to do it.

Gentle exercise will help release endorphins, which will help elevation of mood. If you want to relieve yourself of backaches you must concentrate on toning you thighs, back and buttocks, this will also help in improving your posture.

Are you feeling tired even after a goodnight sleep? If you are constantly grabbing a cup of coffee or caffeinated soda to keep you going, or crawl in the bed for a quick nap, exercise can help you get more energy.

One of the most recommended sleep aids for anyone with trouble sleeping is one commonly used to counteract the side effects of medications that promote weight loss is called Ambiotol.

Aerobic exercise is one of the best types of exercise to use as a remedy for insomnia. Walking, jogging, bicycling, or an aerobics class at the local gym are all good ways to get your heart rate up for the recommended 20 to 30 minutes a day.

Drink plenty of fluids before and during exercise. Start with relaxation and stretching before beginning exercise. Be sure to not allow yourself to become overheated, breathless or fatigued. If you experience dizziness, headaches, muscle weakness, nausea, chest pain, or contractions, stop exercising immediately.

You might have sleep apnea and not even know it. About 10 percent of Americans stop breathing in their sleep and suffer from sleep apnea. It has been reported that an average suffer can stop breathing in their sleep, sometimes up to 100 times an hour, every hour.

Increasing metabolism is a combination of a number of factors and getting the correct amount of sleep is one of those factors. The correct amount of sleep can also have lots of other benefits as well including, better concentration, increased problem solving skills, better memory and moods.

One of the facts that influence your weight and metabolism is combination of rest and sleep. Even though you are encouraged to have an active life and exercise regularly don't also forget to sleep and to rest your body after exercises since relaxation is the second most important fact in exercising and correcting your metabolism.

Sleeping better is one of the short term benefits of working out. Studies have shown that increased energy output has been linked to falling asleep on your own clock versus tossing and turning all night in bed.

This skimping on sleep may make you more prone to clumsiness and not reacting quickly in a dangerous situation, especially if you're driving. It appears that your brain processes information much more slowly.
