Got an acne breakout coming, or do you just want to figure out how to stop an acne breakout? An acne breakout occurs when huge amounts of acne all of a sudden pop up on the face. There are many reasons for an acne breakout to occur, such as hot weather, sudden change in diet or lifestyle, or just a random occurrence. There is almost nothing you can do to stop an acne breakout that is already occurring, however there are methods to avoiding one in the further. We'll discuss how to treat existing acne breakouts and how to prevent future breakouts.

Once existing acne breakouts begin, it often takes three to four weeks to stop it. The only way you can speed up the treatment process is to figure out what caused the initial trigger. Is it because of your diet, or the weather? A quick, common treatment that works for almost all types of acne treatments is to eat only health food for the next week. Avoid all junk food, and avoid all reprocessed foods. This includes many forms of grains and meats. There are many chemicals in reprocessed foods that lead to clogged pores and the overproduction of sebum. Even though it may not look like it, there are so many foods that cause acne. By eating only fresh fruits and vegetables for a week, cooking everything by boiling, you should notice your acne calming down. Then, you can treat the acne successfully without worrying about additional chain acne breakouts.

Also, over washing or over applying of acne creams doesn't help treat acne breakouts. Exposure to sunlight often makes it worse. Based on personal experiences, the real treatment is just to wait it out. Take the necessary precautions that I've described above to reduce any further breakouts of acne.

To prevent an acne breakouts in the future, it's important to keep and maintain the diet and lifestyle you are currently living. Any sudden changes that involves the skin results in a potential environment for an unwanted breakout. It is still a mystery as to why this occurs, but if you're looking to stay safe, be sure to avoid extended exposure to skin damaging agents, like bad acne treatments and sun exposure. Be sure to apply sun block when necessary, and avoid sweating as this often clogs pores, leading to acne breakouts.

Acne breakouts are very nasty and is one thing no acne sufferer looks forward to. They are completely unpredictable, but by taking the necessary steps I've talked about, you should see fast improvement during an acne breakout and reduced frequency in the never of acne breakouts.
