Proper meditation takes a lot of practice and a huge amount of time in order to train the body to reach a true meditation state. I know for myself this can be very hard to achieve especially if you don't have hours everyday that can be devoted strictly to meditation. Binaural beat technology can really help to achieve a true meditative state quickly and actually very easily. Below will explain how binaural beats work and how they can be extremely effective with meditation.

What are Binaural Beats?

Put very simply binaural beats stimulate the brain by altering the operating frequency. What that means is that the brain can perceive different frequencies and certain combinations of frequencies will produce different altered mind states. This is not something new, it has been studied for well over 150 years. Sound waves affect our brain frequencies and when certain beats are put together in the right combination we can stimulate certain abilities

What does it Take to Reach a True Meditative State?

As stated above it can take a very long time to achieve a true meditative state. Our mind has to be within a specific frequency range in order to achieve true meditation. In order for us to get to that state we have to block out absolutely all of the outside interferences and our bodies must be extremely relaxed.

So in essence when we start to meditate we are in the ‘Alpha State' or otherwise known as the ‘Awake State'. We operate our daily lives in the ‘Beta State'. So in order to have real success when meditating, we must be able to get from the Beta state to the Alpha state by dropping our brain frequency. For someone who is a beginner at meditation this can be extremely difficult. So many people simply give up and never get to experience the myriad of benefits that come with meditation. We all achieve the Alpha state each day but it is usually by passing through it on our way into Theta, then to Delta which is when we sleep.

How do Binaural Beats Help with Meditation?

Binaural beat recordings will absolutely drop your brain frequencies from the Beta state into the Alpha state. If you listen to the proper combination of binaural beats you can actually reach the Alpha state within minutes. I realize this seems hard to believe, but I have used it myself over and over again and it absolutely works. In fact sometimes I use them simply when I have nervous or anxious energy or when I can't sleep. If I use the right binaural beat combination I will be fast asleep within 10 – 20 minutes… seriously. The recordings will send two separate frequencies to each ear. Our brain then creates a third tone which is the difference between the two. This makes the brain instantly react to the frequencies which causes a shift in consciousness. It's pretty neat. So in otherwords though many people take years to accomplish getting to the Alpha state in meditation, you can achieve this literally within minutes with binaural beat recordings.

How to Progress from There...

Once you have reached the Alpha state, you can then go on to reach Theta meditation. In order to do this you simply need to lower your frequency a little bit more. Achieving this true state of meditation has numerous health benefits that include physical, emotional, mental and of course spiritual gains.

The trick is to use binaural beat recordings from a trusted and reputable source. You can expect if nothing else complete and total relaxation as well as a complete shift in your consciousness.
