In women cancer of ovaries, Uterus and breast is very common and in all of these the rate of breast cancer is very high. In Asia Pakistani women are at the top of the list in connection of this disease.
If it is diagnosed in initial stage then it is treatable but as stage increases then it is difficult to over come the disease.
Risk factor includes from family history, obesity, late marriage and late delivery of first child etc.
After 40 years risk of cancer increases and in those women who doesn't feed to their children risk increase. Symptoms:In initial stage there is no specific symptoms. Appearance of nodules, increase in the size of nodules are the symptoms of breast cancer. There is no pain in nodules but every nodule is not the cancer's nodule some times when Cancer increases then goes to the gland of arm pit and feels in the arm pit or the size of breast increases or decreases. The nodules of cancer have so many roots and it is confirmed by memogram test. After 40 years every women should screening yourself. Screening means check yourself once in a month, or after 6 months or one year checked up by doctor. Do the special X-ray memo gram of breast after every 2 years.
When women know breast cancer then immediately go to the breast surgeon because Biopsy is the important part of diagnosis. Treatment:Firstly it is checked that either Cancer is limited to the breast or it is spread to other parts of body such as lungs, liver, bones etc.
If it is spread to other parts of body then treatment is done by chemotherapy.
After chemotherapy operation can also be done.
There are two ways of operation either complete breast is expel out or to save the breast the size of nodules can also be done small.
If the size of nodule is 4 to 5 cm or greater than it then it is difficult to save the breast.
