When it gets to studying it is rather natural to read out material, then read it over again in order to remember it well, but there are few things you can do if you want to be sure that it will stay there for longer! One of the better things to do is to make a correct connection between items you want to remember. Another thing is to do it after you inhale all the air and can keep it like that for one-two seconds. It was proven by various methods and researches. Holding breath down while acquiring a new information let our brain give it a higher meaning and through that enable us to recall it more easily.

With which thing you can associate new information about price of unique Barbie dolls in London and that you want to get it for your daughter? You can create an mental movie with dolls invading your car as you try to open it in the morning. Honestly it is up to you to how you will relate a new information but a good thing to do is to use the chain method technique which assume that remembering the first element of chain is enough to remember rest of it. You simply take one element and create a nice connection with the next one.

Whatever you will decide to do here are most important rules when creating a successful association:

Exaggerate it!
People and things are so much easier to remember if you picture them in your mind in a hilarious way. It translates to situation where you are throwing tomato with tattooed or inked-in sentence like "viva la... revolution" at French aristocrat you make is not only extremely big, but fill it with something special. The next element could by affected by already nervous aristocrat and so the story would go on until last element of chain.

Move it!
Connection between two items must be strong so be sure elements move onto each other. If possible arrange a duel, but make it something unique. For example it can be even a duel in eating pigeons from chocolate. Keep in mind that the more alive and funny association you create is the easier it will be to remember and recall it so make sure there is a lot of dynamic in images and mental movies you make. I could say that in order for learning something within one kept breath you need to make right association very fast and as funny things are easy to come up with you should have a lot of fun along.

Modify it!
If somehow you do not know the nature or characteristics of element you need to remember (it may happen with names of people) then create a symbol or character that will represent original. You can always get idea by looking at second name or giving one based on characteristics. For instance, remembering someone whom last name sounds like "apple hood" would take place instantly after you would imagine some fruity scenes around body of person.

Keep it saturated!
The more fantastic and unique connections you gonna create the easier you gonna recall them. You remember the moment when you were extremely scared? Now, do you remember a time when you were so happy that the world looked brighter? Strong emotions and feelings are simply hard to forget and when you take the habit of associating new information with what you already know it will be faster and easier to remember anything you want, anytime you want!

The breathtaking learning technique is indeed about taking a breath, then creating highly dynamic and live image or mental movie that present interactions of objects onto each other. Since you know about breathing importance then you can also learn to use it with multiple subjects. For me it works great for remembering history.
