You probably know this, but it is very saddening to see how many married couples are having difficulties and contemplating ending their marriages.  As you continue reading, you will discover that filing for divorce is not always the best or even the only option available when a marriage has reached a potential breaking point.  There are a lot of options available to couples, such as counseling, but they need to both be committed making the marriage or relationship work.

Besides seeking outside help, there are a number of ways that a marriage can be saved and successfully avoid the divorce process.  This can be very beneficial to both partners and does not require a huge effort by either party, just an equal commitment towards the common goal to "save my marriaage."

1.  Realize that there is no such thing as a perfect marriage. When two people start a life together there are bound to be problems that arise.  These can be minor things that can easily be overlooked or they can be potential deal breakers that can result in a split or divorce.  If you want a successful marriage, you both need to learn to get through the rough times and work your problems out together.

Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes.  Being able to realize and accept this as a fact of life will allow you to work together to resolve your issues and see that you can "save my marriage."

2.  Good communication is critical to having a good marriage.Honesty really is the best policy, especially in a marriage.  You can find solutions to just about any problems that arise in your relationship if you are open and honest with your partner and communicate effectively.

3.  Learn to compromise.Learning to master the art of compromise will allow you the opportunity to find a middle ground to work through your problems.  Compromise is a huge part of a successful marriage and learning that you both will have opportunities give and take will give you the power to overcome all obstacles.

Sometimes the damage that has been done cannot be fixed.  This is when a divorce may be considered as a final option.  In most cases, however, you should work together and seek counseling if you need it so you can say "I can save my marriage."

These are just three secrets that can save my marriage.
