The short answer is Yes. To best answer this question, I will concentrate on the topic of visualisation in general, and then explain how it can apply to money, as well as just about anything else.

To explain this point better, I should first explain the relationship of our mind to the external world, around us. All our thoughts are in fact brain waves, operating at a specific series of frequencies. In the same manner as radio waves, our thoughts are able to actually transmit themselves from our brains, and into the world externally. For some people, this can be an initial block to their senses, as it may sound so out of line with their current belief structure. However, for the purposes of this explanation, I can assure you that our thought are actually radio waves, that can, and do travel outward from us. There are numerous texts written to explain these points better, including the Prosperity Book Series by Catherine Ponder.

However, to get back to my initial point, our thoughts are actually instrumental in affecting our world around us, and thus, our ability to manifest external circumstances to our benefit. I would like to point out at this stage, that it is important to ensure that your desires are inclusive of the greater good around you, as concentrating on ill effect to others will usually bounce back to affect you. To this end, I regularly ensure my desires and thoughts include the benefit of all around me as well.
An example is probably best used to explain this point in detail.

In the late 90's, a friend of mine was preparing to move to another city in Australia, and I had been happy for him, but equally comfortable in my home town of Perth, at the time. However, my friend was persistent, and encouraged me to commit to considering the move later on. As I was not fully committed, I made a note, and promptly forgot about it.

As it turned out, I arrived in Sydney around six months later, as I had a new position to go to, that was better paid, and more rewarding than my previous position. However, the most pertinent point here, was that three days after I arrived in Sydney, there was a not in my diary, that said, "prepare to consider going to Sydney." In my case, I was already there and I was only able to write the word 'consider'.

So, what had actually happened here? Firstly, the subject was discussed, and then noted, in writing. This is an important step in the process, as the writing actually crystallises the point, in our minds as well. From then on, either consciously, or unconsciously, we will tend to both do, and attract into our lives, the circumstances to help manifest our desires. Hence, this can apply to the concept of manifesting money as well.

It is important to ensure that you spend some time, daily, visualising, or meditating on the desired outcomes you want. This may be a monetary sum, for a specific purpose, or anything else. I once had need for a sum of $1600, and it manifested to me within a few days in the form of a gift that arrived, unexpectedly. Note that I have said the outcomes, and not the process to get there. In many cases, for some people, the idea that they do not know how to get somewhere blocks them from visualising the result they desire, and thus, they do not succeed. However, I have found, from my own experience, as well as reading of other people's, that the end result is the important point to visualise, as the rest will work itself through ways you may not have imagined. Once you have an end goal, your thoughts, and actions will open the way for you, and answers will come, as you progress. Another way to think of this is to think of the headlights from your car on a dark night. You know your final destination, hopefully, but you can only see a hundred meters or so ahead of you on the road, at any one time. The road becomes clearer, as you drive along. You also know you will reach your destination.

This is one of those concepts that requires practice, and application, for it to work. I have successfully proven this concept to myself over my life time, and I know that it will work for others, given time.
