Each of us have two separate and distinct minds. They do different things and sometimes they have a hard time interrelating and communicating with each other. The way I think of them is to imagine that you have an outer-mind and an inner-mind. The outer-mind is the conscious-mind that you think, analyze and rationalize with. The conscious mind is where we spend most of our time.

What I have been taught is that the conscious mind can be divided into four parts:  Analysis,...

Working for the man, living from paycheck to paycheck, making someone else rich, surviving past 'hump' day or thanking God it's Friday.

If you've been known to say one or many of these sayings before there's a good chance you're not exactly thrilled about your day job.

Instead of jumping out of bed and greeting a new working day with vigor, you slam the snooze button and pray for some illness to get you out of work.

The daily commute to work is like a death march met...

There is no way we can see the fullest ramifications of a decision into the far future. For example, someone has six children. they could have no grandchildren or maybe 30.

How can we solve the problem or at least close the gap? The idea of closing the gap has some validity in any number of areas we are delving into. . I was running on the Long Beach boardwalk and I thought maybe I could catch the runner ahead of me before the end of the boardwalk a couple of miles but I realized...

Life exposes us to various situations, both encouraging and frustrating.  You may invest your emotions in a relationships yet after just a short time it fails to work and you part ways. However, there are basic rules that will guarantee you success in  your relationships. Though the modern world is not conducive for successful relationships because careers and jobs separate us from our partners, you should work towards maintaining and strengthening ties.

Partners...

Life coaching is another modality of mental health therapy; only less intense than traditional psychotherapy. When we speak of anxiety, anger management, depression, etc., these are issues that call for the services of a psychotherapist to help people feel better about their lives and have better relationships with others. However, while the process of a person being able to resolve these issues is progress in and of itself, it is not progression. Progression entails achieving a level...

Despite what anyone’s view of marriage may be, it takes work and commitment to make marriage work. If one is not ready to accept they might have to be strong and fight their way through some real hardships, marriage might not be a good idea. This is not to say that all marriages were made without careful thought, there are many who do go into marriage cautiously and truly believe that they will do their best to stand beside their partner for better or for worse.

There are...

There are very many forms of medical journals, magazines and books that feature psychology articles. Many of these articles may be the works of one person or many people, but one must read them with an open mind, especially when it comes to theories and ideas of medical interest.

First and foremost, these type of articles can benefit all of us and can help the medical world especially. Psychiatrists and psychologists discover new ways on how to treat an illness or on how to...

RIGHT USE OF POWER IS URGENTLY IMPORTANT.
Right use of power and influence is surely one of the most important issues facing us in our emerging globally interdependent world. Interest in right use of power takes us in the dynamic realms of roles, relationships, and trust. We engage with finding out how we impact others and then with developing the skills and compassion to be more and more effective. This is inspiring and valuable process.

UNDERSTANDING MORE THAN ONE...

What Your Shoes Proclaim:

The shoes you wear fit your personality.

Boots:

Regardless of your sex, wearing boots reflects masculine virility and self confidence, daring anyone to look at you in the wrong way.

Fashionable Shoes:

To be in vogue overrides all, even if your toes are crushing you. Favorite Shoes:

Free thinking, your adornment is for no one other than yourself. No need to alter, the same is true in your everyday lifestyle. Your job, friends,...

What Your Gratuity Substantiates:

Your gift to someone, how you thought about them-if at all- tells about you. As an example, jewelry is an “easy” gift for a man to give to a woman. Clothing have more intimate overtones.

Extravagant:

You want others to keep in mind what you put out for them.

Gifts (That Are Really For You):

When the gift you give is really for yourself, that is, you benefit thereby, pompousness and conceit are the order of the...
