The term cellulite refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin that several people have on their hips, thighs, and buttocks. This appearance is much more ordinary in women than in men because of differences in the method fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women's skin. The lumpiness of cellulite is caused by fat deposits that push and distort the connective tissues beneath skin, leading to the characteristic changes in appearance of the skin.

Cellulite is not related to the situation known as cellulitis, which is a spreading bacterial infection of the skin and tissues beneath the skin.

What causes cellulite?

The dimpled appearance of cellulite can be considered to be a usual variant -- one way that lots of perfectly usual human beings look. Heredity, skin thickness, gender, the amount and distribution of body fat, and age can all power the extent to which cellulite is present or visible. While cellulite is more ordinary in women than men, men can also be affected. Cellulite occurs in people of all races living all around the globe. Though female hormones may play a role in contributing to this pattern of fat distribution, cellulite is not treatable by hormone therapy.

Signs and Symptoms of Cellulite

Cellulite is a skin trouble that can affect anyone, counting men, women and children. However, women are often exaggerated the most, with 95% of all women suffering from this situation to several extents. It is visually characterized by bulging, pitted, wrinkled, and dimpled skin on the abdomen, buttocks, hips, and thighs which occur due to fatty deposits that are concerted in these areas. Food and Diet

What are several key foods that will fight cellulite? Try wholegrain foods and fiber. Keep away from anything that has surplus fat and particularly avoid the temptation to eat sugars. Although this might be the most difficult one, you must make a decision as to whether you are going to manage your cellulite or whether you are going to let your cellulite control you. Other things to consider - eat lots of fruits and vegetables, they hold the natural ingredients that are very useful for your skin. These ingredients include: gingko biloba, fish oil, and soy lecithin.

Home Remedies for Cellulite

1.    You should try honey & lemon in lukewarm water it is considered as best remedy for plummeting cellulite.

2.    Cranberry juice, onions, green tea & chlorophyll rich foods also assist in prevent the fat to accumulate.

3.    You can consider on fresh fruits, vegetables & juices which are low in calories for reducing your cellulite.

4.    Ice cold things are not fine for cellulite so always drink or eat cold things at room temperature rather than ice cold.

5.    Do some simple exercises or physical activities for cellulite treatment. It can be aerobic, jogging, skipping etc.

6.    Combine rosemary and fennel oils together & rub it on affected region every day to get best result on cellulite.

7.    Take a little amount of anti-cellulite aromatherapy oil and combine it to the lukewarm water. Apply this combination on the hips and thighs for a few minutes to get relief from this ugly cellulite.

8.    Employ a soft body brush on damp or dry skin, brushing in long sweeping movements over the afflicted area, and working in the direction of the heart.

9.    Employ a massage glove or rough sisal mitt in the equal way as above.

10.    Always massage a cellulite cream methodically with your fingertips. It makes them double effective. Remember, the massaging action is more significant than the cellulite cream.
