Even though you don’t have hair loss or balding, you can actually use non-surgical hair replacement . The non-surgical hair replacement is the use of wigs. Simply, you can wear wigs to change your looks. Wigs are easy to attach and are available every where.

The common reason for wearing wig is when a person is experiencing baldness. Some cancer patients wear this to cover the thinning hair. For men who experience male pattern baldness, they also wear wigs as an easy-to-apply hair piece. But other than baldness or hair loss problems, wigs are popular hair replacement for convenience. In the present times, wigs are worn on different occasions and on different reasons. Below are some of the reasons for wearing wigs:


  • Immediate hairstyle. In most cases, wearing wig is a fast remedy to change hairstyle when you have no time for extensive hair do.

  • Change appearance. People who want to hide their physical identity use wigs to change their looks. Likewise, those who want to be trendy also wear such hair piece. For instance, if your hair color is black, you can change hair color instantly by wearing blonde wigs.

  • Costume. Wigs can be used as costumes or in occasions that makes you look fancy.

  • Official Dress Code. In some nations like Britain or Hongkong, judges, barristers and parliamentary officials wear wigs as part of their court dress. They wear this as symbol of their office to provide anonymity or safety.

  • Religious reasons. Part of the Orthodox Jewish law requires women who are married to cover their hair as a symbol of modesty. In which case, they use certain wig called sheitel for this reason.


These are only some of the reasons for using wigs. So if you think wigs are only used for hair loss solutions, you got it wrong. It has many uses and any person can use it for whatever reason.
