Everybody needs rest after hard day's work. The body needs complete rest in order to relax all the functions carried out by it. When the nervous system is relaxed, the body goes in to artificial sleep for certain period of time. But it is not the same as natural sleep which you get normally. Hence consuming sleeping pill can sometimes leave you feel drowsy. It sometime causes uneasiness in the mornings. Hence it is always better to consult the doctor to know the correct dosage. If you want to get sleep naturally, there are alternative methods. You can modify your regular routine slightly in order to get good sleep. The first and foremost thing is you can cut down on caffeine and other drinks after dinner. A warm glass of milk is advisable before going to bed. Breathing exercises may also help a lot in getting a good night's sleep.
