A snake tends to be a rather jealous and possessive lover because of his deep-seated insecurities. He often ends up alienating his partner through his over possessive antics. He often becomes overbearing in his attempt to hold on to his mate. He might take recourse to extreme behavior such as hurting his partner if he feels the latter is trying to desert him or not allowing his mate to step out of home!

A snake's jealous and extreme behavior is contrary to what he really needs and that is peace. He wants to live in a peaceful atmosphere and it is up to his partner to provide him with that.

A rooster or a monkey or a snake or an ox is a perfect and ideal match for a snake because of their similar tastes and mutual understanding. If they can iron out their differences, they will be on a roll and marriage is certainly recommended. A pig and a snake have opposite tastes but they will be compatible if they put in some effort. They both seek power and success. The snake is smart while the rat has an imaginative trait. A tiger and a snake can make a successful union if they put in a lot of effort and try to understand each other for a snake is detached and cool, while a tiger is outgoing.
