Mistakes have resulted in some of life's best creations. The learning process is an inherent part of our growth as humans. As children we do and say things that, until corrected, we may not know are wrong. Sometimes we need multiple corrections and reminders to fully grasp and comprehend the difference between right and wrong. These mistakes are our constant reminders of the correct way to act, behave and speak. It is imperative that we learn from each mistake we make. These mistakes are part of our personal growth and development, and form part of our learning process. Great discoveries or inventions rarely materialize on the first try. The lessons learned from mistakes and trials are what help make some findings and creations such relevant forces in today's world. While many lessons can be taught in school, at home or in church, all of that instruction serves no purpose until you are forced to experience some tasks first hand. And, once you experience failure or make a mistake, you will develop a way of operating that combines both your educational learning and your personal hands-on experience. Your success will peak once you have learned the lesson that mistakes can and do result in success! You must be able to properly identify and accept mistakes as not only normal but also as essential to your personal, professional and social growth and development. I challenge you to not allow yourself to get down when you find yourself making mistakes on a daily basis. I challenge you to refocus your negative perception of mistakes. Mistakes are only bad when the lesson is not learned. Lastly, I challenge you to simply go on and to keep allowing yourself to create success one mistake at a time, and for that, I salute you.
