The power of Creative Visualization puts us in a position to clearly state our ‘intentions' and then keep our 'attention' on those intentions. In this sense, Creative Visualization is a great tool for goal setting. So many people are not clear on what they want in life. Most can articulate more clearly what they DON'T want in their lives rather than what they DO want. I used to be very guilty of this! How about you? Our subconscious mind is always happy to support what we are thinking about the most. If our thoughts are predominantly negative, our subconscious mind starts 'going to work' to find more and more things in our world to support these negative thoughts. But the beauty of our subconscious mind is that it will do the same if our thoughts are predominantly positive. It will bring to our attention all the good positive stuff in our day and in our world. We can either be participating in an 'upward spiral' of unlimited possibility or a 'downward spiral' of doom and gloom. The choice is ours! Creative Visualization is a powerful tool to harness and take dominion over our greatest asset - our mind! So what is it that you want in your life? Set an intention right now for what you would like to create. Next, take a few minutes by yourself and get into a relaxed position. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Now bring your intention (goal) into your mind. What does it look like? See all the details of this intention as fulfilled. Now FEEL what it's like to have this intention fulfilled. What are the emotions that you are experiencing (love, joy, confidence, gratitude, success, inner peace)? Feel these emotions deeply so they are very real and palpable to you. At the end of your Creative Visualization session, experience gratitude for having this intention fulfilled. Take these positive feelings, thoughts and images with you throughout your day. Keep your attention fully on them. You will find you are automatically taking actions toward fulfilling your intention. You will be more open to inspiration, staying motivated and seeing possibilities that will move you toward your goal. You can use Creative Visualization daily to keep your thoughts and actions focused on fulfilling your intentions!
