You are starting to go into an acne craze; prom is coming, nearly a week away and you've got blemished galore. How can you tame the Beast quickly without leaving marks, or redness, behind? You need real info that is going to work, no more bs, it's time to get down to business. This stuff is serious. It sticks around for days, the deep ones can stay for a week or more, and you need relief like yesterday. Here are some time-tested ways to get your skin in great condition fast, and keep it that way.

Once you find the right information to fight acne you'll be living large, with smooth and beautiful skin for life. First of all, you have to start paying attention to what you eat, and drink, and you have to start today! Your diet is actually a major role in acne so watch for triggers in your diet, and avoid them. You may be surprised to find out that certain amino acids can trigger sebum production. Sebum overload is one of the main acne producers and this nasty over-producing oil can be triggered heavily by banana's and dairy products. Start by tossing the banana's, and try soy milk and other soy products for a week or two just to notice the difference. You'll see. Secondly, stop over washing that face. Two times a day is plenty; once in the morning, once at night, no more. Try a mild cleanser that you prefer. Not every cleanser is right for every face, so if you find one cleanser to be too harsh or not effective enough toss it. You need to find a cleanser that leaves your face feeling clean and fresh, but no dryness and no redness. Try a cleanser for sensitive skin which contains salicylic acid. Generally these cleansers can be irritating, but the sensitive skin formulas are great for a much gentler clean.

Stop popping. It's freaking terrible for your face. If you have a stubborn zit a week before prom, Do Not Pop It. I promise you that the red, scar will still be around in one week. You need to use an extra warm wash cloth at least twice a day for two to three minutes at a time. This will open up the zip's head and release the junk naturally. This means no forceful, red-scar, mess. Stop rubbing and touching your face too. If you have a nervous habit of touching your face, or you just touch your face often, you need to chew gum or find some way of stopping the madness. You only create more troubles by touching that pretty face. Be nice to your face, and your face will be nice back.
