I once heard that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.  I then ask how insane am I?  How many of us get caught in a rut in a pattern and we can't understand and ask ourselves why things don't ever change.  We become like those hamsters on the wheel of life.  We do more, we run more but we can never get off the wheel to change our patterns.  To get off the wheel of insanity would mean to change, to reflect on oneself and figure out "why" we are in this insanity mode and who does it serve?  In relationships, in work, in everyday living – we enter into these relationships and the pattern is, everything is great for 6 weeks, 3 months and then we feel as if things are slipping – the pattern returns, we feel as if we are not being treated as we should.  We complain about it, we don't like the way it feels but yet we continue the dance of insanity.  At work same thing, a co-worker treats us unfairly – we feel treated unjustly but we don't say anything to correct this behavior and live in our TRUTH, but we expect them not to treat us like that again.  What are the chances of the pattern of insanity to continue?  I would say the chances are great.  You ask how do we stop the pattern?  How do we get off the hamster wheel?  By speaking our TRUTH, by stating that the patterns do not serve us anymore and that we wish to stop the insanity; the madness.  We can state these words in a kind gentle manner so that we are understood and taken seriously. We must first recognize and reflect on our patterns; this is the hardest thing to do since it requires reflection of self.  Once we recognize the pattern, the abuse, then we can take ourselves off the wheel of insanity and once again live in peace.  Peace is what I wish for everyone of you!

Remember, may the possibilities of today excite us all!
