mditation

The brain activity is in an incessant activity which occurs even during our deep sleep or daylight naps. All our activities in life are governed with our brain activity, and in effect we have to train it to be put into good use in order to avoid the boring or dull mood which many experience now and then. When our minds wonder about without a suitable thought however trivial it may be, we will get bored; parts of our brain is simply disconnected.

Different regions of the brain show different effects in Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and interactions between these regions, such as vision and interacting to sight will light up in the scan. If this communication lapses, then the regions are disconnected temporarily

Neuronal activity causes local changes in cerebral blood flow, blood volume, and blood oxygenation. MRI is sensitive to changes in cerebral blood flow and blood oxygenation. These techniques were used to obtain completely noninvasive tomography maps of human brain activity.

This is like an electronic processor that enhances connection between certain regions at certain times. When the processor switches to a new set of connections, the existing ones weaken. Communication between those regions slows and attention lapses. Researchers have found that, when the frontal lobes of the brain lit” up after a lapse, the mind switches to focus.

There are several ways by which we can achieve a continued healthy and jovial attitude to what we call”brain exercise e.g. short term meditation or involvement in a reading a book, article, newspaper, writing, solving a puzzle etc or listening to a soothing and soft music of choice or practicing yoga; thereby enhancing communication between different parts of the brain.Increasing participation in such activities might even prevent or delay dementia. The experts herewith advise not to listen to high level notes of music or excessive noise, as this will eventually have an adverse effect.

Stress, depression, autism , even Alzheimer diseases are very different from each other, but they share a common feature: In those afflicted, brain scans reveal strange behavior in the same region of the brain, a part which  is associated with internal thoughts, that is often poorly understood.

Research has indicated that t he state of brain synchronization is found in many serious mediators that allows to tap into levels of mental activity. This is often accompanied by a deep relaxing state of the body, even deeper to the extent of total relaxation and good sleep.

Those who are religious will find meditating in religious writings or the supernatural effects, may bring forth a state of mental exercise, and may bring forth happiness or self satisfaction.

Whatever the method(s) utilized in exercising the brain functions, one has to indulge in it, and will eventually never get bored.
