I'm sure most of you have heard of penis pumps or vacuum pumps as one of the solutions to enlarge your member. These products are being heavily advertised on adult websites, through email and in the back pages of men's magazines. They are one of the oldest penile enlargement products available on the market. But the question still remains - do they work?
The simple answer is - no. Not in the long-term, anyway. Penis pumps don't really give permanent enlargement, so they really aren't a good choice if you want to make your penis bigger. They are certainly good for some things, but permanent penile enlargement is just not one of them.
These devices were originally developed for men who suffer from erectile dysfunction to help them achieve and maintain an erection. They do work well for their originally intended purpose, but anything beyond that is pure hype designed only to sell them.
So how exactly do these pumps work? They are simple devices consisting of an airtight cylinder that is fitted over the penis. They work by creating a vacuum effect around the penis, which increases the blood flow into the erectile tissue. The blood is then trapped by a rubber ring placed around the base of the penile shaft.
Vacuum pumps will only give you a temporary swelling of the penile tissue and will not make your penis permanently bigger. They work for a strictly limited period of time. Once you disengage from the pump, everything will go back to normal.
Also remember that these pumps can be dangerous if used improperly. Pumping must be done very carefully to avoid injury. Over-enthusiastic use can lead to broken blood vessels, blisters, and can also result in a loss of sensation. Too much suction can cause permanent injury and extreme pain.
In conclusion, penis pumps are not designed and meant to permanently increase your penile size. They can also be dangerous, if used improperly. Because there are many other more safe and effective solutions out there, I would not recommend using one.
