Do You Know What "real Love" is All About ????

"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides.

And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.

Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.--

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.

My husband and I have it,-- we have roots that grew towards each other underground,- and when all the pretty blossoms had fallen from our branches,- we found that we were one tree and not two."

This is what true love is all about,- after many, many years together !!!!

If young people, today realized this fact of life, there would be less divorces.- But in this new era, they get married thiking "If does not work  out, we'll get a divorce".-

They do not choose a man or a woman based in these principles.- The only thing that matters is SEX, without realizing that passion subsides sooner or latter, just to be substituted by a much more beautiful and loving feeling.-

The words "Till death do us part" is no longer in their dictionary.-

If only they new that, at the end of our lives, this is all that really matters. To have someone next to you while growing old together. To know you will never be alone.- To get to know that person so well, you can get to a point where there is no need to talk, since you can read eachother's mind.- That he or she will always be there when you are sick, lonely or sad.-

If this is a good man or woman,-at the end, you get to realize that all the sacrifices and problems were worth the effort to keep that marriage together.-
