a dear friend of mine fought and won the deadly battle against eating disorders.

In particular bulimia and anorexia.

Let me tell you a bit about her and how shell help you.

Let's start by telling the strory from the mohter perspective.

In here own words this is what she said at "pro anorexia nervosa" speech

Discovering that your child has an Eating Disorder is horrible enough…

But as a parent, what do you do to save them from this deadly Disorder?

How do you react and where do you go for help?

Those are just a few of the many questions that ran through my head as I tried to comprehend this terrible situation.

As a parent of a child who nearly died from Anorexia and Bulimia, I'm going to share with you my story of how she (and I) survived and went on to lead healthy, happy lives.

You are facing an incredible challenge with your child. You have just discovered that she/he has an Eating Disorder... and whether you realize it or not,this CAN be a life-threatening matter.

You don't know what to do! If this describes your real-life situation, then perhaps my story can help you through this awful time.

My name is Estelle Conover and my daughter, Erika, confronted me nine years ago with the news that she had Anorexia and Bulimia and that she was afraid she was going to die.

She wanted to live and she wanted my help. While familiar with the words "Anorexia and Bulimia", I had no other real information or knowledge of what this was all about. Like you, I didn't have a clue about how to help Erika -- I only knew that I wanted her to survive."

I wanted to share the entire story of everything our family went through as we discovered Erika's struggle with Eating Disorders, and the exact path we took to help her, and ultimately save her life.

This is my story about our journey to her recovery and the significant insights I learned from this horrific experience that other sources may overlook.
