It is easy to say that you want your ex backand that you'd do anything to get him back but how dedicated are you really? It might be easy to say that you are willing to fight for him or devote your life to him in order to get him back. You might even feel that you will love him until the end of time. But are you willing to do just about anything to get him back?

Are you willing to let him goin order to get him back? This may seem like a confusing question but do you honestly love him enough to let him go if that is what will honestly make him happy? True love is an emotion that is not selfish. If you really do love your boyfriend ask yourself if you love him enough to let him go if that is what will ultimately make him happy.

Sometimes these thoughtscan be a rude awakening and a bit of a slap in the face but by focusing on what is really important and your own motives you might find that you are acting out of selfishness and your own desire to posses another human being. Could this be one of the reasons for your breakup and can a change in your attitude lead to a more loving, caring relationship? If you really want to get him back ask yourself if you are looking out for his best interests or only your own.

Do you love him enoughand want to get back together with him enough to take care of yourself? This may seem like a very silly question but often after a breakup people completely fall apart. It is not uncommon for people to act erratically and their life falls apart both emotionally and physically.

Have you been getting enough sleepor are you sleeping all the time? Are you eating regular healthy meals or are you eating comfort food or not eating at all? All of these are very typical behaviors for someone to exhibit after a breakup but do you love him enough and do you want to get him back enough to break these bad habits and get your life back together?

Nobody wants to parent a grown adultand it is often months after a breakup before many people realize how needy they have been and how far down they have gone after the breakup. Often it is too late at that point to do much about the breakup since an ex's opinion of their former partner is pretty much written in stone. Of course, there is always hope of reconciliation and the sooner you get back on your feet the better your chances are of getting him back.

It may be very difficultfor you to pull yourself out of this hole but by forcing yourself to start sleeping regular hours and eating regular meals you will actually begin to feel more normal. Seeking some help from a doctor temporarily to help with some of the effects of the depression that you may be experiencing is also nothing unusual and your doctor probably treats many patients for situational depression every month. So there is no shame in asking for help.

Some careful thoughtabout your motives and your love for your ex can bring about some startling realizations. Also, by taking a close look at yourself and your own behaviors you can improve not only your own life and situation but also your chances of getting him back into your life again.
