As someone who often feel bored, I need to do many things. I feel more comfortable with time to do more work than when there is no work. Like a child who is hyperactive, when no activity is interesting to do, bad sides will appear. I am so nosy I interfere with or work on other people, and complaining to everyone that I could die cause bored. Badly, I can only work under ideal conditions in my opinion. When I was not healthy, in a bad situation, or having problems, I can not work optimally. However, the ideal working conditions is not always achieved and I have to keep working. The solution is look for other activities at least make me a little better, such as pampering my self with a warm bath in the bathtub. At other times, I was watching my favorite DVD movies while doing my job.

The secret behind multitasking

The results of studies published by the Journal of Experimental Psychology states that multitasking probably even less efficient, especially for complex jobs and unusual work. This is because need more time, when his mental functions have shifted from one job to another. For example, a child needs time between complete math homework and english homework. Therefore, skills needed to do two different tasks. In another study published in the journal Neuroimage, stated that the human mind can not stand multitasking. When performing two tasks that require working different parts of the brain, the subject's performance research looked down. According to him, multitasking is more difficult than the imagine people in general. Brain systems that govern decision-making and remember, can not working simultaneously. The task requires two abilities if done at once, can lead to mental congestion. Need a break when we do two jobs in nearby. Because when we do two things at once, which actually happened is that we continue to move rapidly, from one tasks to other tasks. According to Pashler, that's why people hard to talk (especially a serious topic) while driving a car.

The result will not be effective

Right now more people doing different things at once, mainly because of technological sophistication. Female who have children while working, must have (and should) do multitasking. People with the profession loaded lots and lots of variations of tasks, such as teachers, managers, entertainment workers, and doctors, tend to accustomed to multitasking. Most children also learn multitasking, for example, when allowed to eat while playing or watching television. Teenagers often do chores while browsing the internet and listening to music. What is the effect of multitasking? In children and adolescents, multitasking actually slows the rhythm of work, changing the way learning, and even reduce the quality of social relationships they have. In adults, multitasking can reduce productivity, as do two or more jobs at one time tends spend more time. Doing many things at once can damage the cells that form new memories, that makes people easy to forget, and weakens the attention and vigilance.

Positive benefits

What is multitasking always a bad thing..? In my opinion, not always. Sometimes people are required to be able doing various things at once, such as the demands of work or situation (working mother). Exploiting technology to do several things at once, I think it release people from stress and unnecessary fatigue. When I was little, assistant households used to watch my younger brothers and sisters who fell asleep with the door open while washing. My mother could bake, brushing and washing the same time, with aid toaster machines, vacuum cleaners, and washing machines. Sports would be more fun if done while listening to music. Dancing with musical accompaniment. Dance music multitasking also is a co-ordination skills workings of the body and senses.
