"Life's real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up."- Anon There's a saying that "you can't fail unless you quit". As cliche' as it may sound, it is one of the most profound tenets in all of personal development. We've all had the experience where we see some amazingly successful, wealthy person "doing their thing" and we say to ourselves, "well that doesn't look so hard. I could do that.". Then we start working on emulating that person's success only to find (to our shock and horror) that it really isn't as easy as it looks...at least not when you don't have experience. Our dreams and ego crushed, we put our tail between our legs and walk away, defeated. Building wealth is not just about personality or "will", but a specific skill set that must be honed over time. Some take longer than others and some take a shorter time, but it takes time nonetheless. The fact of the matter is that this IS easy, its just that it doesn't feel that way until you have paid an undetermined amount of dues on learning the what, how, and by what means that one becomes successful in what you have chosen to do. Everyone's journey is different and unique to them. Honor your process and the time that it will take for you to truly EARN the right for this to be easy. Until then, work, work, work, and get as much development as you possibly can so when you make it, you'll be "the real deal" that does it so well that green, inexperienced newbies think to themselves, "well that doesn't look so hard. I could do that."
