The simplest of the easy fundraisers is the old classic, the bake sale. This idea may not be new, but you can learn from it. As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention. Looking at bake sales and building on the basic concept is an excellent way of discovering new ideas.

You might try, for instance, offering something you can make and people will want to buy in order to raise funds for your event or cause. Even if you can't offer a physical item, maybe you're good with computers and can offer your services for a donation. Which leads us to:

Tip #1-Take an old idea and make it new

If you have kids, you have video games and looking at this as a resource can provide some interesting an fun ideas for your easy fundraisers. Let's say your oldest son is a champ at a popular video game. You could raise funds by charging a fee to take a turn at besting your video game champion. This idea is summed up in:

Tip #2-See opportunity in the ordinary

You could set up a whole carnival midway with a few minutes of time spent at the local dollar store. Thumbtacks and balloons on a board make for a fun hand-eye coordination game with the addition of some darts (and the requisite safety measures). Get some brown paper lunch bags and use a marker to put a big question mark on them. Fill them with random (but fun!) dollar store items and offer at your carnival for a modest price. Kids can hardly wait to tear them open and see what's inside. Which leads us to:

Tip #3-Raid the dollar store

Do you have a friend that owes you a favor? You can always take that favor in trade by way of asking your friend to help out at your event. Likewise, you can get help from churches and schools who offer volunteer services. It's far easier to manage a team of helpers than to try and do everything yourself. Online partnerships are another way of making the most of your event or cause. Lastly, we have:

Tip #4-Don't be a hero- ask for help

Keep in mind that you want to minimize your outlay of cash and maximize revenue. Adhering to these four steps will help you make your easy fundraisers both fun and easy.

Tip #1:Take an old idea and make it new

Tip #2:See opportunity in the ordinary

Tip #3:Raid the dollar store

Tip #4:Don't be a hero- ask for help
