Easy lucid dream techniques are difficult to find, especially ones that are guaranteed to work. All the techniques that I use to try would require me to re-pattern and reprogram myself so that my perceived nature of reality would change by using simple affirmations. If you have ever tried this you will know that it is not an easy lucid dream technique, in fact it is quite difficult.
Repeating the words "I am dreaming" over and over again is supposedly one of the easy lucid dream techniques. I did this for more than five weeks straight and did not once even come close to having a lucid dream. I did once recall a dream in which I was at a hockey game and the phrase "you are dreaming" flashed across the screen. That did not even clue me in to the fact that I was dreaming. I only realized it after I woke up.

First thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up, write down everything that you can remember about your dreams. Have a pad and paper on your nightstand for this. Try reliving your dreams just as if you were lucid at the time of your dream and imagine the excitement and the sensations that a lucid dream would induce. Visualize that you are already having a lucid dream, visualize that lucid dreaming is a normal part of your life.
Reserve about ten or fifteen minutes every afternoon and re-envision your dream again, feel nothing but confidence that you can take control of your dreams and be lucid a throughout the dream. Don't be obsessive about this, just practice every day for a few minutes and again envision yourself taking over your dream.
Now here comes the fun part; eat a light dinner and do not watch TV for at least two hours before bedtime. Just try to meditate and relax use binaural beats and headphones to help you. When you get in bed make sure you have that note pad handy so you can take notes about your dreams. While you are in bed and ready for sleep, listen to isochronic tones, they will help you attain an aware but very relaxed state. In that condition it will be very easy to slip into your dreams and remain conscious.

Think of it this way; do you worry that you workplace won't be there when you arrive? Do you feel like it will be gone if you don't visualize every last room or floor of the building? Of course the answer is no, you are absolutely certain that it will be there, although you haven't arrived as yet.
So can you follow these easy lucid dream techniques and have your first lucid dream? You need to believe it will happen, don't try to force it. Isochronic tones and binaural beats are a very powerful tool that will put you into the proper state of mind and help you overcome any mental blockage that you may have concerning lucid dreaming. Practicing various affirmations or statements such as I am dreaming" over and over again is one positive thing to help you lucid dream but the results are often discouraging and will take a very long time.
