If you intend to live a long healthy life, you need to start taking preventive measures even at an early age. The problem, however, is that many individuals love excesses while they are young, thinking that they are invincible. They get used to eating fatty foods, sleeping late, drinking booze and having utter disregard for their health until such time when they start to feel aches and pains. By the time they reach 40, their sugar and cholesterol levels are so high, their weight is over the top, and their cardiovascular health is poor.

One good thing about the human body is that it can restore itself to its healthy status if certain lifestyle changes have been made. Thus, even if you have been doing lots of things to harm your body for the past few years, your body can still recuperate from all these bad things, especially if no serious illness or condition has formed yet.
